6th May 2007 Windsurfing: Pevensey Bay Wind Direction: WSW-SW Wind Stength: F4-5, maybe more Surf / Sea State: Flattish, in a coastal way Air Temperature: cooler than of late Sea Temperature: okay Weather: overcast but dry & windy !! Max Speed: Distance Covered: Nice session in the bay, little gusty if honest, but good blasting session. Started out on the Rocket 115 / Remedy 6.4m, then as wind filled in switched to the 3S97 / 5.6m Remedy, then wind dropped a little so switched back to the Rocket & 6.4m. The joys of indecision forcing me to rig two sets of kit so could switch about between the components to maximise TOW and minimise time faffing on the beach everytime wind 'adjusted itself'. Nice session, especially as wasn't expecting to get out ... looks like the missus has sussed that I'm much more chilled when I've been windsurfing, she sent me out for the afternoon !! Happy days, enjoyed that ! |
